Making his Mark in Peterborough

{Making his Mark in Peterborough}

Driver Hire Peterborough has a new owner, local man, Mark Hubbard. Mark purchased the franchise from Brian and Lin Kilroe.

Mark has enjoyed a 40-year career in logistics, distribution, and operational management. Over that time, he’s worked in warehouse management, chilled and ambient distribution, and large-scale operations supplying major supermarkets and food manufacturers. His most recent posting was Operations Director at Knowles Logistics.

Working alongside Mark in the Peterborough office is his daughter Megan Hubbard. Mark is also retaining long-standing staff member Louise Jonker.

Commenting on his decision to buy his own business, Mark said: “From my past experience I know that recruitment agencies provide an essential service. If you need a speedy replacement to recover a situation you need a good partner to work with. That’s Driver Hire. They’re a top brand, compliant, respected and dedicated to the industry. When the opportunity came along, it was perfectly timed. Coupled with my in-depth industry knowledge and my colleagues at Driver Hire Peterborough, we’ve got the perfect team to continue this office’s success. I’m looking forward to meeting clients and drivers and continuing the trusted relationships this office has built over the years.”

Driver Hire is the UK’s largest specialist logistics recruiter, supplying customers in a wide range of sectors nationwide.

Established in 1983, The Driver Hire network consists of 104 offices across the UK, all focused on supplying thousands of satisfied customers each year.

With over 40 years of experience Driver Hire is one of the top companies for finding different businesses the staff they need for permanent positions (they work on a no-success, no fee basis), long-term contracts or simply drivers for one-off jobs.

Driver Hire don’t focus purely on drivers; they regularly help find people for non-driving roles that come with haulage links, such as warehouse staff and managers.
