Driver Hire is one of six finalists in the 2018 bfa HSBC ‘Franchisor of the Year’ awards. The awards highlight the UK’s most exceptional franchisors; the ones that are driving business success through best practice, innovative strategies and a strong brand.

Commenting on the nomination, a delighted Graham Duckworth, Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director said: “This award recognises consistency and excellence in franchising. We’ve made it to the finals in twelve out of the last thirteen years which I think speaks volumes about the quality and value of our business model. Our national franchise network has just completed its sixth record trading year in a row, which is great news in itself. Winning this award would be the icing on the cake.”

Pip Wilkins, the bfa’s Chief Executive Officer added: “Our annual awards are proving more popular than ever, with a 32% increase in entries over 2017. It’s been a tough task to narrow them down to this year’s finalists. I’d like to thank everyone who entered and congratulate those nominated for an award. Driver Hire and the five other ‘Franchisor of the Year’ finalists : Agency Express, Autosmart, Costa Coffee, McDonald’s Restaurants Ltd and TaxAssist Accountants will presented their case to the awards judges in March. The winners will be announced at the bfa HSBC ‘Franchise of the Year’ awards on the 28th June which is being held at the Birmingham International Conference Centre.
