F.A.Q.
1. Why this price?
Quite simply, I no longer have the time to manage this small business, and everything becomes complicated when you’re not locally present. The salon is around breakeven - not clearly profitable - but it’s not being properly managed. It has strong potential to return to profitability, as it has been in the past. It just needs a dedicated manager. To fit out a salon to this standard from an empty unit would now cost around €130,000.
2. Where do the figures come from?
All figures can be verified by your lawyer. They are taken from our centralised software system and backed by invoices. The salons are well established. I sold two units last year - the legal contracts are prepared, and funds are handled through a reputable Dublin solicitor. The process is safe and transparent.
3. What exactly am I buying?
I sell unit by unit. Technically, you’re not buying a company. You’re buying the lease, the furniture, and the business activity. You can use your own company, register a new one, or operate as self-employed. This structure is an advantage - you’re not inheriting any debt. We also include several new chairs in storage and other furniture worth approximately €10,000.
4. How does the process work?
This document includes all the key information except the salon name, which will be shared later along with a viewing (photos are real and representative). I prefer to keep staff and clients unaware of the sale for now. The salon is located in the Wicklow Street area. All financials and legal contracts are ready.
Please note: I don’t have time for casual conversations or timewasters. If you’re serious and ready to proceed, everything will move quickly and transparently. If you’re just browsing or dreaming, this is not for you.
5. If I want to buy, how do we proceed?
We’ll schedule a call. Then, a €5,000 deposit will be paid to the solicitor with a signed deposit agreement. First to pay the deposit gets the deal. Everything is ready on my side. If funds are available, the sale can be completed within 4–6 weeks through our respective Dublin lawyers.
6. What about the staff?
There is one full-time hairstylist, employed since April 2024 - a great opportunity if you’re a hairstylist yourself, as you can earn a salary (€28,000) plus the salon’s income. I’ve also introduced a ‘Rent a Chair’ model, with 3 independent stylists currently renting chairs - this covers the full rent of the salon.
7. Will the lease continue at this rent?
Yes. The lease protects you, and the income from the 3 chair rentals already covers the rent.
8. Any negatives?
The only issue is lack of active management and marketing.
To summarise:
I’m moving on with my life, and this creates a genuine opportunity. This is a well-equipped salon with real potential, ideal for a hairstylist-owner. It’s a solid ship - it just needs a captain. The process is clear, secure and quick.
